The Amazon River dolphin is only found in South America. The Amazon River dolphin is a fresh water dolphin They are the largest species of fresh water dolphins. The Amazon River dolphin feeds on crabs, fish, and catfish. Their favorite food is fish. Their usual color is grey or pink. Amazon River dolphin's predator is humans.Their life span is twelve to eighteen years. The Amazon River dolphin is about 6.5 feet in length. Amazon River dolphins are able to twist their necks from side to side while most species of dolphin's can't. They are able to paddle forward while with the other paddling backward to help maneuver when the river floods. Amazon River dolphins have molar-like teeth that allow them chew their prey. Their bristle like hairs at the end of their snouts help them search for food on the muddy river bottoms.
